The cosmetics in my handbag right now
It an indulgent heading, but it can be very exciting to see what in other women handbags, wouldn you agree?
I mean, for starters, there a good chance they have something you never even seen or heard of, but which might change your entire perception of makeup or how you do your face or hair.I cannot tell you(For legal reasons)How many times(In the millions) (Wwwwoops! )I watched another beauty editor pull something out of their little wizard sack and apply, my jaw slack with amazement at michael kors handbag outlet uk this magical new tool they had produced, which created such splendid effects.Even if i had been sent it too.Sometimes you just want to see it in action, or really loved by someone else, before you buy in, yknow?
Then there the fact that you might see that mint or gum they popped into an old receipt when they couldn find a bin, and suddenly they get all awkward and embarrassed and it terribly entertaining.
So, i go michael kors cynthia satchels first, will i? (As usual. When will you guys ever go first?Man. )
Note:I have downsized a lot.Lip products aside. But i used to lug around whole bronzers, eye shadow palettes, illuminators no.Not anymore. My thinking is if i do a good enough job of my makeup at home(Using primers and brushes for longevity)I shouldn need to apply every little thing.Just touch up the exciting parts, like cheeks and lips.
She ain cheap, but when she smells this good,(Gardenia, jasmine, tuberose and lily, yesyesyes! )And she this concentrated, she worth it.I also have some michael kors in my travalo, but i seem to have misplaced it.Which is the kind of sentence that probably, if i were the type, would earn a sad face emoticon.I just dab on wrists and right up behind ears every now and then when i feel less than exceptional, scent wise, or wish to blow my fellow diners away with my delicousness.I cannot not have fragrance on me.Just can won cosmetics duo mk bags outlet uk cheek and lip creme in pretty cheeky, $34.95.
I reckon i been through at least two of these in my time, and that saying something, and that something is, impressive, because they last for ever. This(Rather large)Palette is such fun for ladies who like ornament their face with bright, sheer fruity shades, either on their lips or cheeks. (It can be a bit drying on the lips, so i apply balm first. )Also terrific is the walloping great mirror that is very handy for people who like to constantly check and add/subtract makeup throughout the day/evening. (Shiseido sun protection stick foundation, $48
I spoken on this magic stick before. Why does it get such a powerful adjective?Because it intensely high sun protection(Uva/uvb), it full but dewy coverage, and is terrific as a concealer, even over angry, aggressive shiny or freshly picked at(You sicko)Pimples.I like it because it an all in one foundation/concealer toy that can even be used under the eyes, such is it creaminess.Sad fact:There are only two tinted shades, one quite dark, and one quite light.Rad fact:It anAqua coloured stick!Aqua!
Chanel levres scintillantes glossimer, $42
I had and been using this gloss(In bikini peach)Since june last year.It isn cheap, i get that, but that not the point it a special purchase, one you save for and saviour. Why it worth it:Because it crazy shiny, mildly shimmery(Not glittery)And glossy and feels wonderful, not sticky, and look, let be honest(Best policy, policies awards, 2009), it feels especially fantastic pulling a Chanel lip gloss out of your bag.It just does.We might not all have chanel bags and shoes, but we can all sneak into the magnificence of the brand via the beauty counter, right blake lively? !?Oh there is:Too much loose change,(Some of it nz currency helpful)Extra chewing gum in flavour(Who knew kids tasted so delightful! ), an iPhone, housekeys, scratched sunglasses who have lost their case, several(Disgusting)Hairbands that are brown and thin and thus sacred, bobby pins, a to do or shopping list that is obsolete, 14 other lip glosses/lipsticks/balms and several coffee loyalty and business cards, which is daft, because i don ever use either. My makeup case is my lifesaver, currently it has a mini perfume, baby wipes, lip balm, pink lipstick, 3 different glosses, hairbrush, hair ties and bobby pins, girly essentials and mini foundation for touch ups.I dont carry around blush/bronzer, if i need to touch up my cheeks i use lipstick on my pinky finger.I have my diary, my phone, wallet, keys, kids sunscreen(It was free and its purple! ), sunglasses, reading glasses, an umbrella, the books Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, 3 scented bingo pens(In case i have the need to mark numbers off highlighters, about 7 lipsticks in various pink shades, a packet of tissues, biotherm moisturiser, a usb stick, headache tablets and promesse perfume by cacharel(Because it smells like ribena! ).But the beauty products in it at the moment are:Maybelline mousse foundation, neutrogena sunscreen spray, st ives cleanser(That would be from the boys place), Le Tan moisturiser, Palmers concentrated cream, Avon smooth minerals mascara, Lucas PawPaw, an old no name perfume, Australis eyebrow pencil and 2 Lanolips ointments(One coloured, one clear). It holds the usual diary, wallet, mobile, keys, sunglasses and case. Then i have one of those naked bag liners(Clear ziplocked bag)To keep all my essentials:Hand sanitiser, jurlique jasmine hand cream, mini elnett hairspray, bumble bumble brilliantine, lucas pawpaw, assorted lip balms and glosses including my favourite lancome fever gloss, soft lips in both spf and non spf, maybelline shinealicious in minty sheer, lanolips tinted lip balm in rose and sunshine, kai roll on perfume just like you zoe!, tweezers, nail clippers, mini sewing kit, hair bands, bobby pins and compact mirror.Oh and of course assorted first aid items ie band aids, party feet, pain killers, tampons, tissues etc.I do a(Hopefully)Good application before i leave the house and i off.So instead i have the diary, phone, sunglasses(I seriously need a case for those)Ipod, headphones, book and my little emergency kit which houses my essentials, spare phone charger, band aids, panadol, mini deodorant(Thank you companies for making travel minis! ), mini Dermologica face products(Thank you cathay pacific business class and mum who i swiped them off! )And a mini perfume.Oh and there usually a mini aurora spa lip balm(Divine)Which i lost and have been replaced with trilogy everything balm.
