More than of cigarettes were stolen from a petrol station in the early hours of this morning.Thieves used a stolen digger to ram raid the store and wrench two cash machines from the wall on july 29.There was also a separate failed attempt to steal travel money from a store counter two weeks ago.A tesco employee, who did not want to be named, said the raiders took around three minutes to plunder the cigarettes.He said:Was working at the time when the alarm went off and alerted staff.Police then arrived but it was too late and the thieves had made off.Used a bar to smash through the door and we think they stole more than worth of cigarettes.Put staff here really on edge now as there have been quite a few raids recently.Extremely sad that raids like this happen.There has literally been thousands of pounds worth of damage caused over the last couple of months.Petrol station counter is currently closed but some pumps [URL=http://www.rcamb.com.au]ralph lauren online sale[/URL] remain open while police carry out an investigation.A police spokesman said:Were called at around 2.37am after two hooded men made off with all the store cigarettes.Heard the alarm going off and called us.Believe the culprits either drove off in a volkswagen polo or golf which was silver in colour.With any information should call police on 101 or crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
